CeraPhi Energy Welcomes Work Experience Student

14 July 2022

This week we welcomed Thomas White, a student from the University Technical College of Norfolk, who joins the CeraPhi Energy team for two weeks as part of his work experience.
Thomas is currently studying for his A-levels in Mathematics and Physics, as well as completing his Cambridge Technical Level 3 in Engineering and has a keen passion to have a career within renewable energy.
As part of his work experience, CeraPhi Energy has provided Thomas with a day-to-day insight into what its like to work in the business working alongside predominately the engineering team, Thomas has been doing a lot of research into geothermal energy to further his knowledge in this area. He has also been given the opportunity to see first hand what other departments do in CeraPhi Energy to gain a holistic view of the company.

Speaking about the opportunity to gain first-hand experience with CeraPhi Energy, Thomas said: “The renewable energy sector is so broad and developing at an astonishing rate and I personally feel like it’s such a great field to pursue a career in. CeraPhi Energy has given me an amazing insight on both the sector itself and their ingenious outlook on the concept of international geothermal energy production.”
CeraPhi Energy is very focussed on supporting – and inspiring – the next generation of young talent into this field, we recognise that they will be absolutely instrumental in transforming our global energy mix. As such, the company is committed to working closely with local schools, colleges and universities to provide an insight into working in this field and provide sustainable career opportunities at all entry level positions.
We hope to welcome Thomas again – and other work experience students – in the very near future.
